To facilitate a smooth transition from CWPAY to the new system, planned activities are underway including:
Payroll Workrooms - are scheduled for departments to receive one-on-one assistance to process online payroll documents.
Onsite Production Support - project staff will be onsite at several department locations to provide immediate assistance.
Continuous Monitoring of Production Operations – project staff will work with departments to closely monitor operations.
As before, the Auditor Controller Countywide Payroll Division will respond to ongoing department payroll inquiries. Additionally, department payroll staff were trained on new online methods to submit questions/inquiries using the new Ask Payroll and Helpstar facilities. Moreover, helpful reference guides will be made available to departmental payroll staff including, FAQs, Updated Desk Procedures, Employee Communication Flyers, Crosswalk/mapping documents, Instructional Video Clips, training manuals, and key department contacts.
