The County's Legislative Program

The Intergovernmental and External Affairs Branch of the Los Angeles County Chief Executive Office (CEO-IGEA) is the focal point for coordination of legislative policy and strategy for the County.  At the direction of the Board of Supervisors and in consultation with the Legislative Strategist, and County departments, CEO-IGEA develops the County's legislative priorities and policies annually for consideration by the Board, and analyzes legislative proposals throughout the year.  The County's advocacy is handled on a day-to-day basis by the Sacramento and Washington, D.C. offices.
